1954 Karakorum Evo: the green choice of Skyway Mont Blanc

Increasingly responsible actions that improve our perception of the world, of what we use and consume. Precisely for this reason, for years we have been witnessing an important awareness of companies in the production and research of solutions that can minimize the environmental impact of their products and even more so of their production processes.

From a greater awareness and sense of responsibility, Dolomite’s EVO line was born. The iconic 1954 Karakorum EVO boot has a Vibram sole made with 30% recycled rubber, ecological insole in coconut fibre and 100% natural cork insole. Even the laces are made entirely of recycled material and make this a truly green shoe.
For its qualities, it has been chosen to be at the feet of the Skyway Mont Blanc staff during the next winter season. The cableway system is increasingly sensitive to sustainability issues, and has started a process of conversion and awareness raising towards more ethical choices from an environmental point of view. Skyway is also the first and only cableway installation in Italy to have a sustainability report.
Dolomite is proud to be on this occasion too, alongside such an important reality at a crucial time, a sign that so much has been done since 1897.
