A new partnership between Giant and VR46 Riders Academy

Launch of the collaboration that will see young riders training on Giant bikes throughout the 2021 season

Giant and VR46 Racing Academy, two realities of the highest level and absolute protagonists in the world of two wheels, come together with a common goal: to contribute to the growth of the talents of the Italian team thanks to the support of a leading company in the cycling industry as Giant.

The collaboration officially began with the delivery of the bikes to the riders at the VR|46 company and the Motoranch in Tavullia, a symbolic location for motorcycle racing fans. Surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Marche region and just a few kilometers from the Misano circuit, the Ranch is a unique place, usually dedicated to the VR46 Riders Academy training, where athletes can learn and test themselves to improve day after day.

Born in 2014, the VR46 Riders Academy accompanies the growth of the riders who have established themselves in the motorcycle scene as respectable protagonists: just to name a few, we remember Franco Morbidelli, winner of the Moto2 world championship in 2017, and Luca Marini, debuting in the queen class but with a solid second place in Moto2 in 2020. They are joined by Marco Bezzecchi, Niccolò Antonelli, Stefano Manzi, Andrea Migno and Celestino Vietti, who have been entrusted with Giant MTBs, vehicles that will allow the riders to train to their full potential.
Claudio Cannizzaro, National Sales and Marketing Manager of Giant Italy, commented on the start of this collaboration: “We are very excited to have started this partnership: everything comes from the common values and our desire to accompany these guys in their successes and sporting adventures. We are convinced that training on Giant bicycles is a great way to increase their condition and aspire to increasingly important goals. Supporting an all-Italian reality as the VR46 Riders Academy is for us a source of satisfaction and we hope it is only the first step by which these athletes can achieve great results.
