AAGD Italy in support of young diabetics

The social mission of AAGD Italy

Diabetes management requires great attention and daily commitment. For this reason, the Italian Association to Aid Young Diabetics (AAGD) decided to complement the work of physicians by embracing a ‘social’ mission. The ambition is to be able to provide young diabetics with sufficient care to enable them to live normally and to manage their health as independently as possible.

Osprey now a technical sponsor of the AAGD Italy.

Osprey decided to join this cause. The partnership, announced in early September, will engage the American outdoor company in providing backpacks and products for the association’s youth. The collaboration between the two companies sheds light on how international cooperation for the promotion of youth welfare is possible and should be pursued.

“The collaboration with AAGD Italia is a significant step in Osprey’s journey toward an increasingly positive social impact,” says the Osprey team. “We are honored to be able to contribute to this initiative that helps young people with diabetes overcome their daily challenges with confidence and grit. This partnership reflects our values of social responsibility and community engagement.”

The president of the AAGD Italia, Francesca Guatteri, shared her enthusiasm for this collaboration, “We are deeply grateful to Osprey for their support and for recognizing the importance of supporting young diabetics. The donation of backpacks will have a positive impact on the lives of our kids, enabling them to face daily challenges with a whole new spirit. Having a brand leader like Osprey by our side fills us with hope.”
