Accident in the mountains for Matteo Bernasconi part of Ragni di Lecco

The lifeless body of Matteo Bernasconi was sighted last night in the Canal della Malgina, Valtellina

He was hit by an avalanche while skiing alone. During the day we will proceed with the recovery of the body, unfortunately for now slowed down by bad weather on the mountain.
Mountain guide, known as “Berna”, member of the Ragni di Lecco since 2003 has been Matteo della Bordella’s climbing partner several times.
