Arc’teryx Alpine Academy returns

Arc’teryx has announced the return of its Alpine Academy for the 13th edition, to be held in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc July 4-7, 2024. This event offers mountain training for enthusiasts of all levels, with more than 80 clinics on various alpine activities, such as mountaineering, climbing, hiking and trail running.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from IFMGA mountain guides and world-renowned athletes such as Nina Caprez, Will Gadd, Jonathan Siegriest, Johanna Åstrom, Ines Papert, Martin Kern, Max Kroneck, Hamish McArthur, Jordan Cannon, Luka Lindic and many others. The Alpine Academy also includes a daily program full of free activities, an Alpine Village where you can immerse yourself in mountain life, workshops, food, drinks and entertainment such as films and athlete speeches.

Program highlights will include Climb & Portaledge Night, Reach Your Highest Level at the Crag, Vallée Blanche Glacier Tour, Trail Running Best of Tour du Mont-Blanc, and Photography in the Vertical Environment.

Every year, the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy is one of my most anticipated moments regarding mountaineering. As an athlete, I am excited to run the Mountaineering Progression Clinic, which has been a great success in past years. I am always thrilled to see previews of films about inspirational people… and attendance at the after-party is mandatory. As every year, I look forward to this gathering of the climbing community – Ines Papert, Arc’teryx Athlete.
