ASICS trail running: gel-trabuco 12 and Fujitrail collection
ASICS launches a new trail running campaign with the goal of inspiring people to run on off-road trails, introducing the Gel-trabuco12 and a new edition of the Fujitrail clothing collection. The Gel-trabuco 12 has been slightly updated, staying true to Japanese heritage with the principle of Kaizen, which means “continuous improvement.” It features the FF Blast midsole and 3D Space Construction technology for a cushioned and stable ride, while the ASICSGrip outsole provides grip on various terrains. The model also includes an anti-shock plate on the forefoot and toe reinforcements to protect the foot from debris found on trails.
In terms of apparel, ASICS’ Fujitrail collection focuses on providing maximum comfort and zero distractions for off-road runners. Features such as seamless design and Actibreeze technology ensure that the garments do not hinder trail adventures, keeping runners cool on hot days. The collection, developed in collaboration with trail running athletes, offers pockets for storing essentials and rain- and wind-resistant materials. The new garments feature a print inspired by satellite images of Mount Fuji, bringing the collection closer to the paths that inspire it.
