Black Crows TEST

Black Crows Draco Freebird 110 tested by The Pill

A true powder bomb, designed for the discerning free tourer who seeks a performance ski on deep snow.

Black Crows TEST

The only twin-tip model in the Black Crows ski mountaineering range, the Draco Freebird 110 offers excellent grip and allows for easy skiing. This construction gives greater maneuverability and allows you to experiment with lines that few other skis can offer. During the test days, we tried this ski in different conditions, and where it gives the most excitement is definitely a powder day. Less recommended on the track, however. Its lightness is not only an advantage in terms of weight for the ascent, but is mainly a source of excitement along virgin slopes. The feeling we experienced is similar to surfing! The sidecut is slightly straight to provide greater stability and a better balance between solidity and maneuverability. With Draco, every descent becomes a blank canvas, ready to be painted with creativity and unique style.
