Bollé: safe proof with augmented reality

Bollé supports winter sports retailers by offering a new augmented reality filter to test the helmet and ski goggle, as well as the performance of the latest Phantom lens technology without having to touch the products.

The Bollé brand stands out not only for its advanced products but also for offering its customers innovative solutions in line with the growing digitalisation of the market. Proof of this is the launch last summer of an Augmented Reality filter so you can try out glasses with the new Phantom lens technology directly from your mobile phone. An absolute first for the sports market that allows to meet the current market needs related to the health crisis. The company expands, for this winter, the possibility to try also helmet and ski mask. The new augmented reality filter will therefore make it possible to virtually wear Bollé’s Nevada goggles and simulate vision through the chosen Phantom lens – without ever having to touch the product. A valuable aid for winter sports equipment retailers, who will be able to demonstrate the performance of the lenses to customers in complete safety.

Developed in collaboration with QReal and M7 Innovations, Bollé’s new Augmented Reality filter is a first in the helmet and goggle industry. Using the Instagram App, the filter allows you to choose between ‘try-on’ modes to virtually test Bollé’s Nevada goggles and RYFT helmet, and ‘try-out’ mode to see your environment through your chosen lens.
