Changes at the top of the Rossignol Group

After 16 years at the helm, Bruno Cercley will hand over the role of CEO to Vincent Wauters during the first quarter of 2021, maintaining a non-executive role as Chairman and Board member.

Bruno Cercley joined Rossignol in 2002, leaving the company in 2005 after the acquisition of Quiksilver. In 2008 he led a group that acquired Rossignol from Quiksilver and, at the end of the transaction, took over as CEO.

Under Cercley’s leadership, the Rossignol Group has grown to become one of the world’s leading winter sports players, with a portfolio of brands including Rossignol, Dynastar, Lange and Look. After a drastic restructuring plan implemented in 2009, the Group’s brands have steadily increased their market share and have enjoyed unprecedented success in the Ski World Cup in recent years. Vincent Wauters will join the Rossignol Group from 1 December 2020 with the aim of consolidating the global development of the Group’s core business and continuing to develop the enormous potential represented by clothing and e-commerce.

Vincent and Bruno will work together for a smooth transition of management during the first quarter 2021. Vincent has extensive experience at the top management of outdoor sports companies, previously CEO of Hunter Boots, Chairman of Arc’teryx and member of the Executive Board of Amer Sports Corporation as Head of Global Operations and the apparel and equipment categories. Wauters has also held various operational positions at Newell Rubbermaid and was one of Amazon’s first employees in France.
