Versatile freeride polesthat are also suitable for other types of outdoor activities

Cober Thunder

The thrills you get from a day spent freeriding completely surrounded by nature and silence are priceless, but they must be earned, and every bit of equipment can make a difference. Not dwelling too much on the choice of pole would be a mistake because comfort in climbing depends a lot on the exhausts and how much we are able to minimize discomfort during any time of the day. Cober’s Pow Pow freeski poles are designed to maximize comfort at all times during the outing: foam grips allow maximum flexibility in grip, which also makes the poles suitable for other types of activities such as hiking. A single pole that can cover multiple disciplines is a good compromise between performance and savings, because Pow Pow’s are still perfect in fresh air and, most importantly, they are super durable. We have battered them a bit to tell the truth, and the resistance to blows is very good because of the material in which they are made, 7075 aluminum, which, as a plus, is super durable over time. Completing the technical picture is the innovative CamLock lever: that is, a bi-material construction of plastic and rubber that allows for greater adherence to the tube and, as a result, both greater stability and more precise fastening.
