Omni-Max Technology

- Improved stability: support in the midfoot is designed with strategically placed flexible groove points in the forefoot that reduce impact and improve flexibility on variable surfaces, providing more natural foot movement.
- Superior traction: the advanced traction outsole is made with special compounds (Adapt Trax on the Konos TRS version and Omni-Grip on the Konos Xcel WP and Konos Low versions) and a tread design for increased grip on wet and dry terrain.
Konos TRS Outdry
The flagship model in this collection from Columbia is called the Konos TRS Outdry, a technical shoe designed to offer comfort and speed. The advanced design of the sport-appropriate mesh upper with seamless overlays offers enhanced durability and foot protection, combined with Outdry’s ultimate waterproof and breathable technology. In contrast, the Navic Fit System ensures a natural midfoot closure and enhanced stability. The lightweight Techlite midsole gives excellent cushioning and wraps around the heel for optimal balance while deflection domes in the heel and forefoot reduce impact for superior comfort. Flexible grooves in the forefoot promote better movement, allowing a more efficient stride. Finally, the unique Adapt Trax rubber outsole, with specially designed patterns, provides excellent grip and traction on different types of terrain, both wet and dry.
Konos Xcel Waterproof Low Hiking Shoe
The Konos Xcel Waterproof Low Hiking Shoe are lightweight, waterproof hiking shoes designed to provide comfort and speed in all conditions. This model features a fabric upper with a synthetic toe cap for added protection and seamless overlays that provide lightweight midfoot support. The specially designed Techlite midsole, heel and midfoot help create a stable platform. This shoe features the patented Omni-Tech waterproof and breathable construction, and the sole is made of Omni-Grip rubber. This version is also available for children, with the only difference being that the mesh upper features synthetic and leather overlays/underlays for added support.
