Traverse, Topo Athletic ‘s new shoe designed for light hiking and trail running. With an evolutionary design from the Ultraventure Pro, it is suitable for both long hikes over difficult terrain and technical trails in the mountains. Featuring a 30 mm x 25 mm ground clearance with a 5 mm drop, it offers extra protection thanks to the rock plate on the forefoot, making it suitable for challenging terrain. The breathable and durable mesh upper, along with the bandage-like fit, ensures stability and precision during stance, while PU printing adds additional structure to high-abrasion areas. The ZipFoam midsole provides a great mix of cushioning and protection while maintaining good ground feel. The TPU-beaded insole repels water, ensuring a dry foot at all times and increased stability. Finally, the Vibram MegaGrip outsole provides excellent traction on all types of terrain, especially in wet conditions.

The roomy, stable fit promotes natural toe expansion, while the ZipFoam midsole and Vibram XS Trek EVO outsole provide softness, lightness and traction on mixed terrain. The traditional mesh upper is durable and includes an improved rocker for a smoother transition when running or walking. The model also uses recycled materials for greater sustainability. Equipped with heel and tongue attachments compatible with the brand’s performance gaiters, and spaced lugs on the sole to prevent mud and debris buildup, the MT-5 is an ideal choice for those seeking versatility and performance in any situation.
