The Pill Magazine – Patagonia Issue

Everything started from this sentence, on a late summer afternoon.

Then, day after day, the “Patagonia Project” has taken shape, a special issue of The Pill dedicated to the Californian brand on the occasion of its first Milan campaign.

“We chose Milan because it is a progressive city where outdoor sports, design, creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation mix together. Many different communities are located here, many of which share the same values of Patagonia: the love for outdoor sports, the uncontaminated places and the commitment to safeguard our ecosystem trying to have the least possible impact on the planet.”

Values, those of Patagonia, which we share and to which we have always been inspired. We love sports that are practiced in silence, away from the crowds and immersed into nature. This is why we believe that its protection is fundamental.

It was an honor and a great pleasure to have the opportunity to tell the story of Patagonia and Ivon Chouinard, since he travelled the country producing his climbing nails up to the activities and challenges that this brand has been constantly fighting for our planet in the last 45 years.

Like the 1% for the Planet initiative, that for Patagonia consists in donating 1% of its income in activities for the protection of our planet. Or the constant commitment to aware information that all its brand ambassadors carry on everyday alongside their sports activities.
