Gore-Tex creates a new collection with Moncler
Moncler Grenoble, founded in 2010 with a desire to create performance mountain products, unveils its new line for the 2020 winter season. Evolving at a downhill pace, the Moncler Grenoble collection has expanded beyond generations to announce its most comprehensive offering yet, along with the extroverted fashion of Moncler Genius, it launches its very first Moncler Grenoble Enfant line dedicated to the mountain heroes of tomorrow.
Line 3 Moncler Grenoble, the latest offering from the creative hub of Moncler Genius, is a vision for the mountain pioneer. Creative director Sandro Mandrino focused on design and functionality, twisting it up with liberal injections of fashion audacity.
The Moncler Grenoble High Performance collection is the most technically elaborate collection in the line, diligently crafted with future-proof materials. The slim silhouettes, in a vibrant pop of color, were developed with a Gore-Tex membrane to ensure unique waterproofing, breathability and lightness, while the natural filling is graphene-treated goose down.
A new line made for protection in the mountains and perfect for all seasons with windproof, waterproof, light and breathable garments, with a double layer to be worn alone or with thermal insulation for the coldest days. The unmistakable Moncler style comes through in the narrow waist for women in the Verres and the outsized proportions in the Gore-Tex 3-layer Thur for men, making it a second skin for both ski touring and city streets. The Linth jacket was designed for winter sports: the 2-layer Gore-Tex Infimium Windstopper is water-resistant and windproof, offering breathability and body temperature regulation on the descent, all enhanced by a mirrored graphic logo on the front. Every detail has been considered for the skier’s everyday needs: High Performance pieces have ski pass pockets, pockets for media devices and even goggle pockets with lens cloths included.
Thur: This is the high performance jacket designed for maximum comfort and safety during outdoor activity on the mountain. The model is made of Gore-Tex fabric completely waterproof, windproof and ultra-breathable. Totally unlined, and finished with taped seams, it has several utility pockets and an avalanche-proof receptor on the sleeve.
Linth: Linth is the High Performance jacket designed for mountain sports activities. The model is made of Gore-Tex Infinium which is at the same time ultra breathable and perfectly resistant to water and wind creating a balance between body microclimate and external environment. It features all the functional details typical of the collection such as waterproof zipper closure, avalanche-proof receptor and jersey cuffs with thumbholes.
Laplance: women’s jacket made of polyester canvas with Gore-Tex Infinium membrane with permanent water repellency and 100% windproof. The model has a slim and feminine line with belt at the waist that enhances the silhouette and hood with fur trim to remove in case of rain or sudden snowfall. The waterproof zippers and the gaiter at the wrists with thumbhole enhance the functionality of the garment.
Verres: is a passe partout, perfect during mountain activities or over a down jacket when the temperature is colder. The model is totally unlined, it is characterized by taped seams and is made of lightweight polyester with Gore-Tex Paclite membrane, extremely breathable, waterproof and windproof. It has a drawstring at the waist to adjust the fit and internal suspenders to be worn as a backpack when the temperature allows it.
