Keen’s new collection is here

Keen, the Portland, Oregon-based brand, with a mission to create original and versatile products, improve life and motivate people to go out and enjoy the outdoors, reinvents the hiking category once again by introducing the new Bellows.Flex collection, with two new models previewed for the SS21: Tempo Flex and Ridge Flex.

As a brand that continually seeks to lead the outdoor industry, Keen has set itself the goal of creating the most efficient hiking boot on the market. When the foot is in motion, the forefoot compresses to create bending points that not only consume energy, but can also lead to premature boot breakage. The addition of Keen.Bellows Flex technology in this critical area allows hikers to move with less effort, leading to calmer days and many more kilometres to cover. When it was tested by hikers, this technology applied to the boots consumed 60% less energy to bend them, helping to increase efficiency and comfort with every step.

With a striking, trail-ready silhouette, the Ridge Flex Wp is constructed from premium leather from Lwg-certified tanneries that operate in a closed circuit to reduce water and energy consumption. A Keen.Bellows Flex insert in soft, yet sturdy tpu provides enhanced forefoot hold for greater efficiency and comfort at every step. The upper has been further treated with a durable PFC-free water repellent that is safe, effective at repelling water and dirt and non-toxic, thus protecting the planets’ sensitive ecosystems. A quick lacing system allows a precise and tight fit, while a heel and shank locking system under the foot ensures stability and reliable protection on technical terrain. A Keen.Dry membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable in all conditions, while the Keen All.Terrain outsole is equipped with strong 5mm lugs for secure foot traction wherever you move.
