The need for the Aequilibrium line to ensure a safe, high-performance product led La Sportiva to create the new Aequilibrium Speed GTX. Several features are common to the products in the range, such as comfort, technicality, lightness, durability and, of course, balance. The latest in the production set itself apart from the others by being lightweight, weighing only 530g per half pair. Nevertheless, it still manages to provide the same levels of performance as a heavier mountaineering boot. Combined with lightness, the heel construction with Double Heel® technology allows users unprecedented comfort and a very effective braking effect on the descent, reducing muscle fatigue, thanks to the geometry of the double rear gusset.

Rainy day? No problem. The Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort outer shell makes the shoe at once waterproof, breathable and, of course, comfortable, thanks to the integrated cushion that aims to protect the ankles. The ergonomic design wraps around the foot while also protecting the toes with a toe edge made of TechLite® PU technology for maximum internal volume adjustment. The rear heel is compatible with semi-automatic lugs, and the Vibram Durastep outsole with SpringLug Tech technology provides great abrasion and wear resistance, providing the highest standards of grip and traction.

All of these technologies look to the future always aware of how important product eco-sustainability is. In fact, the laces of the Aequilibrium Speed GTX are designed with 100% recycled material.
