La Sportiva TX4: TX4 Evo, TX4 Evo GTX and TX4 Evo Mid GTX
La Sportiva renews its TX4 line of approach footwear by introducing TX4 Evo, TX4 Evo GTX and TX4 Evo Mid GTX. The three models feature. The sensitivity and precision characteristics of previous models remain unchanged, while updating the tread design and Impact Brake System block structure, which provide more grip on downhill slopes and excellent traction control on uphill climbs. The wide Climbing Zone at the toe provides and great grip when climbing and during delicate passages. Dual lacing technology, derived from the Mythos, ensures greater precision and an excellent shoe fit, while the more pronounced toe box is designed to increase toe protection.
The new TX4 line
The main feature of the new line is Resole Platform, an insert thanks to which you can resole your footwear through the replacement of worn tread, extending the life cycle of the shoe without compromising its technical characteristics and fit. A conscious choice designed for the consumer, who can continue to use a shoe that has adapted well to their foot over the years while reducing their environmental footprint. The practice of resoldering has always been part of La Sportiva’s culture, which now offers resoldering of gear in the approach, climbing, and mountaineering categories, thanks to an extensive network of highly skilled artisan resolvers.
The new models are designed to provide high standards of technicality and comfort while ensuring maximum protection for the wearer’s foot. Compared to TX4 Evo, the TX4 Evo GTX model features the addition of the Bluesign-certified Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, which makes the footwear waterproof and breathable even during prolonged use, while the mid-cut version is designed to provide greater stability and protection from debris ingress.
