Lange XT3 TOUR 2.0 MV 130 tested by The Pill
For backcountry enthusiasts with an excellent technical level who want to have fun on the descent
Lightweight yet powerful, the Lange XT3 Tour Light MV 130 boots are designed for exploration. These touring boots combine a lightweight hull with Lange’s proven downhill performance, offering a weight-to-performance ratio unmatched in their kind. The touring liner and lightweight hooks, combined with the Grilamid hull, reduce the overall weight of the boots, making them extremely efficient during ascents. The Active Power V-Lock system on the cuff provides a wide 53-degree range of motion during walking, allowing smooth movements. Nevertheless, they seemed to us to perform less well in traverses. With a flex of 130, we would recommend it for experienced skiers looking for downhill performance or otherwise with a good technical level. In fact, its hardness gives confidence and power, ideal for those who want to open the throttle under all circumstances. Tested on hard and transformed snow, it absorbs vibration well and conveys excellent plant sensations. The latter is 99mm, a middle ground between narrow and wide footbed, and combines perfectly with the thermoformable touring liner, providing optimal comfort for skiing and exploring new territory for the entire day. Vibram ISO 9523 touring sole with integrated rocker provides maximum grip on rocky terrain.
