Millet Safety Academy
New appointments on the topic of mountain safety at Millet stores in Cortina, Bolzano and Turin kick off.
Safety watchword. Millet declares the Safety Academy season open by kicking off a new series of events designed to raise awareness of mountain safety and the importance of living outdoor experiences consciously. A free calendar of events open to all that will help people understand how to calculate and deal with the risks that can occur in the mountains, how to best use equipment (transceiver, shovel, probe, airbag) and how to proceed in case of an avalanche.
Below is the schedule of Millet Safety Academy appointments in detail:
MILLET STORE OF CORTINA: Thursday, December 07 at 6:30 p.m.
MILLET STORE OF BOLZANO: Thursday, Dec. 14, 6:30 p.m. – special guest Martina Cumerlato, Millet ski mountaineering athlete
MILLET STORE IN TURIN: Thursday, Dec. 14, 6:30 p.m.-special guest Roger Bovard, Millet athlete as well as author of the Aosta Valley expedition to Nanga Parbat with mountaineer Marco Camandona.
The evening will feature a Mountain Guide and some special guests directly from the Millet team of athletes, who will talk about their experience and offer insights and advice on how to safely tackle mountain adventures.
Millet stores in northern Italy thus become the setting for a calendar of events that aims to pay tribute to the mountains and the crucial issue of safety, as well as to create moments of direct discussion and sharing with its consumers and all outdoor enthusiasts.
