Mizuno presents Wave Prophecy Sorayama
Hajime Sorayama, with his incredible creative ability and avant-garde vision mixed with pure realism, is a true legend in Japan.
Sorayama is known worldwide for creating the genre known as “sexy robots”, true works of art in which coexists the search for the maximum expression of beauty of the human body immersed in the technological perfection of machines and robots.
The Wave Prophecy Sorayama was designed to celebrate the 10th generation of the historic Wave Prophecy by harmoniously integrating the extreme concept of Infinity Wave structural technology into the sole.
The goal was to offer more flexibility to the sole structure while making it lighter. A minimal shoe with an integrated sole made up of large holes and a design based on the idea of trainers floating in the air. The midsole was then made by incorporating translucent parts. The waterproof resin upper features a silver Mizuno RunBird logo, while the heel features metallic silver inserts.
The Sorayama logo is placed inside the sole and the double name on the insole is proof of authenticity of the design by Sorayama for Mizuno.
The Wave Prophecy Sorayama will be available from February 6th in super exclusive and carefully selected shops in Italy. Quantities will be limited to give prestige to this exclusive hi-tech shoe that will become a collector’s item. The Wave Prophecy Sorayama will be sold at a suggested retail price of €300.
