Ski and freeride helmet with simple, clean lines suitable for all snow outings

Oakley Mod 3

Oakley’s Mod 3 is a highly versatile, high-tech snow helmet with a bold, hyperfunctional design. Its lightweight polycarbonate construction makes it comfortable and convenient to wear for the whole day on the slopes. The unique MIPS protection system ensures that dangerous forces that could be transferred to the brain are minimized, making it an extremely protective helmet. The fit is customizable thanks to the BOA 360° system on the back shell, and once worn, it is very easy to close and open even while wearing gloves, thanks to the Fidlock magnetic buckle. The padding and ear flaps are made of breathable and sweat-proof Polartec Power Grid, which conforms well to the wearer’s face due to its 3D structure. They are removable so that they can be washed or so that the helmet can be used even on the hottest spring days. In addition, it has an adjustable ventilation system that, through the air intake on the front of the mask, allows warm air to escape, preventing the head from feeling weighed down by heat not only during late-season days, but also during heavy exertion. The mask fits well on the helmet, especially if Oakley, but that does not mean other masks cannot be used. These lock to the helmet with a rear hook that can eventually be removed. Oakley’s Mod 3 is sold with helmet bag included and is available in three sizes, small (51-55cm), medium (55-59cm) and large (59-63cm). We found it highly functional, versatile and impeccably designed (with any outfit). A helmet suitable for all snow days, skiers of all levels and with different needs.
