International Ocean Film Tour 2020
The ocean adventure arrives on the big screen! The Int. Ocean Film Tour brings the beauty and charm of the deep blue seas to your city or a city near you: be inspired by the five short film program, with a total duration of about two hours. The program sets sail with the unstoppable surfer Bethany Hamilton (the face of this year’s tour) and a sailing adventure that has made history in the sport.
The focus is on spectacular water sports, promoting local communities and, as always, protecting our oceans. The compelling portrait of marine filmmaker Mike deGruy, for example, shows a life dedicated to fighting tirelessly and with determination to protect nature.
The int. Ocean Film Tour Vol. 7 will premiere in Germany at the beginning of March 2020 and then embark on a long journey through 13 countries, with over 200 events planned. Each event will last between 2.5 and 3 hours, including space for presentations, talks and competitions. In many cities, the International Ocean Film Tour will be accompanied by environmental protection organizations and activists who will provide information on what each person can do to protect our oceans and their people.
