Straight from the Willamette region of Oregon, Fresh Face Technology is a fabric deodorizer that is metal-free, being composed of plant extracts of natural, non-GMO mint oil. A true revolution for odor control in the textile industry. As with many other products in the range, the ecological extraction process here confirms Polartec’s commitment to eco-sustainability, which has been rewarded over the years with international certifications, such as Bluesign and Oeketex Standard 100.
To ensure the effectiveness of the new Fresh Face technology compared with the silver-based anti-odor technology, the company conducted several tests. The first involves wearing the garments for six weeks, followed by careful olfactory examinations. It was then continued with fifty cycles of washing to reproduce some wear effect in the garments. It ended with a return to the original conditions for another six weeks. The results confirm, without a doubt, that Fresh Face technology offers the same performance as non-ecological odor treatments.
