SAT and La Sportiva together for the mountains and the Trentino territory

An agreement has been officially signed between La Sportiva, a Trentino brand that produces footwear and outdoor clothing and the Società Alpinisti Tridentini (SAT), a Trentino section of the CAI that has over 27,000 members in the area and one of its objectives is the maintenance of over 5,500 km of trails and the active dissemination of mountain culture in the region.

The next 4 years will therefore see two of the most important Italian realities in the mountain area actively collaborate. The Trentino brand of sportswear and footwear, which officially becomes Technical Partner, will allocate resources to all SAT activities in general and to projects strongly linked to the enhancement and redevelopment of the territory. An example of SAT’s activities immediately referable to the care of the territory concerns the maintenance of paths at high altitude, a Satine tradition with 150 years of history that is part of the global project of environmental conservation that goes under the name of 1% For the Planet. In general, however, all the Consultative Commissions and Technical Groups of the SAT will be involved in various ways in an overall view of environmental redevelopment of the territory. The international association 1% For the Planet to which La Sportiva adheres and in which SAT now also participates, provides for the commitment of the companies involved to allocate at least 1% of the turnover in practices of respect, conservation and environmental requalification.

What could initially have been a simple collaboration through the production of the official SAT uniforms branded La Sportiva, soon turned into something much higher and more valuable both for the members and for mountain enthusiasts and for the company itself”.
