Saucony and the Endorphin Shift2: speed and comfort
The wait is finally over. Endorphin Shift 2, the third road model in Saucony’s Endorphin collection announced a few months ago, has been unveiled promising effortless speed and maximum comfort.
It debuts in three colorways: black&white, classic, Reverie, the revelation colorway of the season, joined by the blue of the space/mulberry version for men and pink for the razze/lime version for women, both featuring a geometric pattern. We’ll have to wait a few more weeks, however, for the long-awaited ViziPro, the fluorescent yellow version that will light up the autumn.
Designed to make running effortless, the new Endorphin Shift 2 combines PWRRUN cushioning – a thick EVA-based cushioning for a soft but supple ride – with responsive SpeedRoll technology – which propels forward, creating a feeling of continuous propulsion, to run faster, with less fatigue. A combination that lets you get more out of every stride. Plus, the XT-900 outsole with reinforced zones at strategic high abrasion points provides optimal traction and durability.
Comfort from heel-to-toe. The new version provides maximum comfort, stability and lightness. The single layer mesh upper, even more breathable and lightweight, gives extreme comfort all day long. The secure lock lacing system allows a more enveloping fit. Fundamental are the new stability activators, such as the TPU heel cup, now revised and improved, which reduces weight while providing excellent support and secure footing. Fit and fit are complemented by the FormFit system that wraps the foot in customized 3D comfort. More stable than the previous version, this model provides even longer runs, every day of the week.
