Saucony launches Ride 17 and a challenge to promote physical activity
Saucony launches the Ride 17 model along with “The Marathumb Challenge” campaign, encouraging people to reduce time spent on social networks in favor of physical activity. The campaign shows that on average people scroll through social feeds for about 126 kilometers per year, instead encouraging them to spend more time outdoors, walking or running. Saucony wants to stand by anyone who decides to spend less time on screens and more time on movement, promoting benefits for body and mind. An application, the Marathumb app, has been created through which users can challenge themselves, earning Saucony rewards for each week in which they exceed the distance traveled by scrolling through social feeds.
