Save The Duck launches “We Respect Bees” campaign

The protection of bees and respect for biodiversity are the central themes of the brand’s new campaign, designed to re-establish harmonious contact between humans and animals.

Save The Duck, a brand specializing in 100% animal-free outwear, today launches “We Respect Bees”, a new initiative that is part of a broader environmental educational campaign entitled “Think Higher”, which will accompany the FW21/22 season.

The Italian company has decided to renew its commitment to the environment by choosing bees, the guardians of the biological variety of our planet, as the protagonists of the campaign. Thanks to “We Respect Bees” Save The Duck intends to rediscover the harmony between man, nature and animals, so as to also influence the business model of fashion companies.

Save The Duck‘s care and love for animals has been realized over the years with the protection of over 20 million ducks, a very important goal that has also been recognized by Peta – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. “As a B Corp and Benefit Society, we have always believed in the importance of respecting and protecting the ecosystem, setting out to stir the consciences of consumers and companies on environmental issues. Protecting bees is an essential action to make a difference,” says Nicolas Bargi, CEO of Save The Duck.

The protagonist of the campaign, conceived and shot by creative director Marco Rubiola, is beekeeper Cecilia Pace from the Colle Salera beekeeping farm in Abruzzo. The company has joined forces with 3Bee, an institution engaged in the development of systems to improve the health of bees and keep the vital parameters of these formidable living beings constantly monitored. Cecilia, represents the legacy of a traditional practice such as beekeeping and has chosen the technological transition to continue caring for bees and biodiversity in an innovative way.

Save The Duck’s iconic garments are featured in the shots, proof of how the company places a heritage rich in values and experiences in its products. The use of Giga fabric makes these garments unique and perfect for everyday use in the city and outdoors. The collaboration with 3Bee and other beehives continues with an operation to raise awareness and protection of bees through a social campaign that will include personalized shots that can tell the peculiarities of each beehive and Save the Duck garments in the most beautiful and representative places.
