SCARPA presents “An ordinary day for Nico Favresse”
SCARPA presents the most bohemian short film in the Alps, portraying the Belgian climber and brand ambassador in his extraordinary daily life.
Nico Favresse, climber and SCARPA Ambassador, is the protagonist of the new short film realized by Jan Novak. After spending an entire day together, the photographer and film-maker created “An ordinary day for Nico Favresse”, now available on the brand’s YouTube channel.
The documentary shows a “typical” day of the Belgian athlete, an ironic and easy-going story from which all the motivation and passion that binds him to the outdoor world shines through. Nico is an all-round climber who shares a long-lasting and synergic collaboration with SCARPA, based on the importance of respecting nature, through conscious choices and behaviours which, in their simplicity, are an invitation to a healthy lifestyle, more attentive to the impact that each of us has on the Planet.
It is precisely on those days when it is difficult even to get out of bed, that a message from a friend can help you turn your day around: a mutual search for inspiration, an excuse to enjoy the immense playground that is nature at home.
For Nico climbing is not just a sport but an activity that gives a deep meaning to life: “Climbing for me is a way to get in touch with nature. Climbing takes me to beautiful places, it encourages me to go beyond my own limits and it makes me feel the unique emotion of being part of something”.
We will see Nico grappling with paragliding, mountain biking and of course climbing, all punctuated by a very special soundtrack. Written by Nico, of course.
