“Some Stories” is the book by the founder of Patagonia

The edition edited by Ediciclo tells the “Business and sport challenges of an entrepreneur outside the box”.

After the success of “Let my people go surfing”, halfway between an autobiography and a responsible business manual, last November 19th “Some Stories”, signed by Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard, was published in Italian for Ediciclo Editore.

Chouinard started his activity in the late fifties, designing and manufacturing climbing equipment. As a climber, fisherman and surfer, Chouinard has made his passion for outdoor sports a successful company specializing in the production of technical sports clothing and accessories with a precise mission: “We are in business to save our planet”.

For almost 80 years, Chouinard has pursued sporting adventures, corporate excellence and environmental activism with equal fervour. Since 1950 he has collected the lessons and revelations he has learned in articles and books, personal letters and poems, introductions and speeches. His favourite texts are collected in this fascinating inner look represented by “Some Stories”, all accompanied by illustrative images, many never published before.

The result is a concentrate of Chouinard’s thought and philosophy, his narrative skill and sense of humour: “Some Stories” is an eclectic portrait of a unique life lived at its best.
