Test: Kayland Vitrik Mid GTX

Test: Kayland Vitrik Mid GTX

Technical approach boot for demanding terrain.

Vitrik is a technical approach shoe suitable for intensive use on rocky terrain. This version with a mid profile, structured and enveloping, ensures greater protection and stability. The upper, in abrasion resistant suede, integrates the ALS system (Ankle Lock System), a Kayland’s exclusive, which guarantees a solid closure of the ankle and an optimal locking of the heel. The asymmetrical lacing, extended to the tip, allows for a personalized closure. The fit is snug and precise, true to your size.

The dual-density microporous midsole is stable and rigid enough to transmit safety even on the most difficult terrain, correctly absorbing impacts while walking. The Vibram Gravity sole with Megagrip compound guarantees optimal adaptability. Effective on all types of terrain, both when uphill and downhill, it ensures smooth transitions in movements and accuracy when climbing. Combined with the climbing zone, it allows good precision even on the smallest supports. The feeling of stability remains even on slippery rocks. Overall, it seemed to us a versatile shoe, ideal to accompany you on rock routes, on via ferratas or on mountain trails in maximum safety and comfort. It allows ample freedom of movement, allowing you to explore any type of terrain.

We Like: The proven A.L.S. which supports the ankle in a safe way.
