The North Face Clean Up Hike: cleaning up nature during earth week.

The North Face Clean Up Hike –
The North Face
continues its fight against trail pollution with its Clean Up Hike initiative, coinciding withEarth Week 2024. This year, the focus is on reducing waste abandonment, as evidenced by Policy Exchange’s Litterbug 2.0 2023 report in the United Kingdom, which reports that about 243 million plastic bottles and cans are abandoned in Europe each year. By 2023, The North Face had cleaned more than 6,500 km of trails in Europe and plans to further expand its activities.

Cleanup initiatives will take place in several Italian locations, with special events organized in Turin, Aosta, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Cuneo. Participants will be able to join The North Face team members and local volunteers on hikes dedicated to cleaning up trails and natural areas. The events will also provide opportunities to interact with nature and actively contribute to environmental conservation. To participate in Cortina d’Ampezzo events, members can sign up for The North Face’s XPLR Pass loyalty program. The goal is to engage the local community and nature lovers to promote a sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle.
