Vibram gets the Golden Compass!

Vibram Furoshiki The Wrapping Sole footwear is awarded the most prestigious design award by ADI, the Italian Design Association. Milan, June 20, at Castello Sforzesco, took place the official awards ceremony for the Compasso D’oro, which saw Luciano Galimberti, ADI President, deliver to Vibram the Compasso D’Oro Award for having developed a super innovative sole that continues on the upper, enveloping every type of foot, ensuring a fit and exceptional comfort.

The shoe comes from a Vibram XS City rubber sole suitable for urban surfaces and it has great durability, while the selected fabric for the upper is the Sensitive Fabrics of Eurojersey. It is a wraparound sole that has had several national and international awards for its originality and design innovation, including the Grand Award of the Design Asia Awards 2017 in Hong Kong and the Design Intelligence Award for the category Excellence at the China Art Academy, in Hangzhou. This shoe will be exhibited together with the participating products of the XXV edition of the prize, in an exhibition at Castello Sforzesco from 21 to 26 June.
