Vibram Sole Factor Mobile Lab: from outdoor to urban world with a greener footprint. The new Vibram N-Oil compound is the protagonist of the last stage of Vibram’s virtual tour 2020, aimed at the urban community.
Vibram Sole Factor Mobile Lab, the project dedicated to the customization of the shoe through the application of a Vibram sole, closes 2020 with one last stop of its project in digital version.
After the success of the first two stages – dedicated to mountain biking and trail running with Megagrip Litebase technology – this occasion will virtually take the Vibram truck into the urban world, offering the shoe customization service to a more mainstream audience.
The project
Trainers, boots and derby shoes will be the protagonists of this stage of the Vibram Sole Factor Mobile Lab: those interested can request the customisation of their city shoe by choosing between two types of Vibram soles made in the new Vibram N-Oil compound: the iconic Vibram Carrarmato design – ideal on more structured shoes such as boots or boots – or a Vibram “flat” sole, perfect for trainers or casual shoes with a tapered silhouette.
Vibram N-Oil
The Vibram N-Oil compound is the innovative Vibram home solution designed to offer a green alternative in the footwear world: rubber is made from over 90% natural materials and the pigments used for the colours are 100% natural and come from plants and organic agricultural waste. A project that underlines Vibram’s constant commitment to the implementation of innovative procedures within the production processes, in order to optimize its social and environmental impact.
How to participate
All those who would like to try the new Vibram N-Oil compound in person can register on the Vibram Testerplace platform at this link from 18th November to 27th November.
Once registered and submitted the request, the user will be contacted by the experts of the Vibram Sole Factor team who will offer their advice to evaluate with the customer the feasibility of the resurfacing technical operation. After receiving consent, the Vibram team will arrange for the free collection of the shoes by a scheduled courier and will then return the product when ready. Once received and worn the shoes, you will then be asked to fill in a questionnaire with your feedback on their use.
