Wildcountry: new Mosquito harness

Superlight, superfly – the Mosquito is a high-end sports climbing harness, minimalist and extremely light with a weight of only 220 grams.

This is the lightest harness Wild Country has ever made. Designed specifically for sport climbing, its precise fit offers maximum comfort despite its lightness, agility and freedom of movement. The weighted, lightweight, laminated construction of the waistbelt features a load-bearing inner structure that distributes the load evenly across the entire harness, combined with super-lightweight mesh padding and a strong, quick-drying, abrasion-resistant cover with seamless, soft edges next to the leather. This harness is specially constructed with freedom of movement in mind. Its sleek, minimalist construction adapts to your body for complete flexibility that you’ll forget while climbing. Mosquito features a new safety indicator, a wear indicator that indicates when the harness needs to be changed: a technology used by Wild Country since the 1990s to clearly indicate when it’s time to put the harness aside: red threads that only become visible after excessive wear and abrasion.

The Mosquito is equipped with lightweight carriers: two rigid front carriers, two softer rear carriers. All the loops are specially designed to attach the equipment and move away from the harness for easier recovery. There’s also a large rear ring that also serves as an attachment point for the chalk bag.
