Woodvivors, Italy at mule pace

Woodvivors reveals itself in preview. On Monday August 1st it will be possible to enjoy streaming the video that tells the feeling and the passion of Woodvivors, anticipating the great documentary about the journey in progress: Italy at mule pace!

“Exploring our past to try to build a more sustainable future”, this is the philosophy that animates Francesco Paolo Lanzino, creator of Woodvivors, a project that tells the story of Italy walked, lived at the pace of a mule. It is a long journey that retraces the steps of the Sentiero Italia CAI (Italian Alpine Club Trail), to discover the inland areas of our country, full of encounters with traditions and knowledge that have been able to build traditions from the earth. Last year, Francesco crossed Sicily, while this spring he started the most substantial part of the project: the long journey from Pantelleria to Piedmont in the company of his mules.

The objective of this project is to document through video the life of marginal territories, producing a testimony of rural life, a true anthropological research in the field. The project is fully in line with Ferrino‘s ideals of slow and responsible tourism, which is why we have decided to offer our support to Woodvivors by supplying trekking backpacks, light tents, ultralight mattresses and technical clothing, which will be essential for the 6-month expedition across Italy.

On Monday, August 1st, starting at 7:30 p.m., on the Ferrino website, it will be possible to see the video showing the project, anticipating the great documentary that will be made at the end of the long journey.
