The key points for consumers, were, first and foremost, the reduction in the volume of packaging (75%), but also the guarantee of a fair remuneration and respect for working conditions, the use of renewable and recyclable materials and finally saving resources like electricity, water, raw material.

Canada announces its stop to disposable plastic starting from 2021
Canada will follow the example of the European Union with regard to the ban on disposable plastic products: to announce the intention to eliminate disposable straws, bags and cutlery from the market by 2021 was Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who spoke during an event in the Gault nature reserve, near Montreal. The regulatory model, the Canadian authorities explain, will be set following the EU directive, which last March definitively approved the progressive ban, again from 2021, of disposable plastic cutlery and plates, plastic straws, cotton buds with plastic stems and supports for balloons, oxy-degradable plastics and food containers and expanded polystyrene cups.
