Saucony launches the Shadow 5000 in a new look
It’s called Shadow 5000 Premium the revival of the iconic shoe of the ’90s
For the new summer season, Saucony has chosen to dust off the iconic Shadow 5000 in a modern guise by renaming it the Shadow 5000 Premium.
The original shoe was initially launched in 1989 as a high-performance running shoe, representing handmade craftsmanship and innovation in running.
“The Shadow 5000 Premium uniquely combines sneaker culture with fashion. This new interpretation has all the makings of a style icon: quality materials, comfort and a rich color palette” – comments Paolo Petri, Global Product & Merchandising Director, Saucony Originals.
The upper combines suede, full-grain leather and nylon on a premium rubber outsole. Comfort is guaranteed by two types of mesh and padded heel collar.
