Sportler Milano Carugate – In collaboration with Plastic Free Ride & Bergamont,
Sportler Milan Carugate
is organizing the first collection ride on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

As part of the program of events organized by Sportler’s new store in Milan Carugate, the upstate retailer is offering a waste collection “Ride” on April 27, with the aim of cleaning up the environment and nature, in collaboration with Plastic Free Ride and the bicycle specialist brand Bergamont.

It is a perfect activity for families with children and teens who will share a mission and sporting activity in nature.

Program details.

9:00 a.m. – meet at Sportler Milan Carugate;

9:30 a.m. – presentation of Plastic Free Ride activities;

10:00 a.m. – start ride: a tongs and a bag will be provided where to store the waste that will be collected. Several miles of roads and bicycle paths will be traveled along previously studied routes, trying to clean them up as best as possible.

1 p.m. – we will then return to the store to weigh and sort all the collected waste and then finish best with some well-deserved refreshments.

“This is an impact -1 activity. In addition to being without any impact as it is a bike activity, the surrounding environment benefits as it is completely cleaned up.” comments Plastic Free Ride, the group of riders who created the project in 2019 and to date have already cleaned up 8150km and collected more than 7000 bottles.
