Amazfit Cheetah Pro Commemorative Edition: tribute to marathon icon Kelvin Kiptum
Zepp Health Corporation announces its partnership with the Kelvin Kiptum Foundation, a major initiative aimed at preserving the memory of the late marathon world record holder Kelvin Kiptum, who tragically passed away in a car accident on Feb. 11, 2024. Under this significant partnership, Zepp Health, through its Amazfit brand, will donate $100,000 to the foundation, along with proceeds from sales of the new Amazfit Cheetah Pro Kelvin Kiptum Commemorative Edition smartwatch.
Amazfit Cheetah Pro features the colors of the Kenyan flag and Kiptum’s signature. The Commemorative Edition is limited to 235 pieces, representative of his marathon world record of 2:00:35. Some models will be available at the Rotterdam Marathon Expo, and the others will be online from April 11, 2024.
Zepp Health, through its partnership with the Kelvin Kiptum Foundation, honors Kelvin’s legacy by promoting values of inspiration, education and infrastructure development in Kenya. Amazfit is also committed as an official sponsor of the Rotterdam Marathon, delivering a special trophy to his family and collecting his bib number one. In addition, the finish line stopwatch will mark Kelvin’s name when he reaches 1:59:59, commemorating his constant pursuit of excellence.
