Ambiente e sostenibilità per la Fall Collection di Cimalp

On the occasion of the arrival of the magical fall season, Cimalp turns to mountain lovers to present its latest Fall Collection: a selection of garments that combines technicality, comfort and performance with a constant focus on eco-sustainability. From the enveloping embrace of merino wool to the reliability of technical pants, and the protection afforded by waterproof and breathable Ultrashell shells, this collection is carefully designed to make the most of all outdoor activities.

Environment and sustainability: the heart of the Fall Collection

The environment and sustainability are the fundamental pillars that define the brand identity. The constant search for innovative solutions to reduce ecological impact drives Cimalp to actively participate in environmental education projects and sustainable practices.

Projet 4810

In 2021, it equips the Haute-Savoie surveyors on the ambitious expedition that has been monitoring the altitude of Mont Blanc since 2001 in order to analyze the impact of climate change on the Roof of Europe. Cimalp’s Ultrashell Vinson becomes the symbol of this endeavor.

An alternative to the big technical fabric brands

In-house research and development of membranes and technologies allows the French brand to stay at the forefront of innovation in new materials. After years of continuous refinement, Cimalp presents the Ultrashell membrane the extraordinary technology that combines waterproofness of 20,000 water columns and breathability of 80,000 Schmerber, and the beating heart of the Fall Collection 2023 technical shells and pants.

Merino Wear: in harmony with nature

Cimalp’s Fall Collection offers a wide selection of garments and accessories made from Merino wool, recognized as a sustainable choice because it is biodegradable and renewable. To ensure ethical sourcing, the brand uses only wool sourced from New Zealand and certified Mulesing-free, a practice that ensures animal welfare.

In addition, to ensure greater strength and durability of the garments, the brand has patented CimaWhool: an innovative fabric composed of 47 percent Merino wool and 53 percent recycled polyester.
