Black Diamond Session Knit Gloves: test by The Pill

A glove that combines protection with handling for ski days in subzero temperatures

Black Diamond
Session Knit Gloves

For long winter sessions in deep snow and extreme temperatures, these gloves combine waterproof knit technology on the back with quality goatskin leather on the palm and at the most rubbing points. This mix of materials makes it a glove with the ultimate in handling and sensitivity yet warm and protective. In addition to goatskin and mesh, we have 133 grams of PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core insulation on the back and 60 grams of PrimaLoft Gold Eco insulation with grip control on the palm. The goatskin ensures durability and flexibility of the glove while the knit part does not go to the trouble of rubbing under the jacket sleeves. With elastic cuffs, entry into the glove is smooth and prevents snow from entering while remaining very snug but never constricting. The cuffs also have a drawstring so they will not be lost when slipping off. Session Knit gloves are designed for ski days with a temperature range of -1° to -12°. Waterproof, breathable, and agile, these are perfect gloves for freeride or ski touring sessions even on colder days or in variable weather.
