Designed in collaboration with Arthur Longo, the all-new Aeronaut series stands to be the only board you’ll ever need to get around your favorite resort

Capita Aeronaut test

Aeronaut is the new pro model of sidehit legend Arthur Longo. To meet its standards, Capita relied on a directional, slightly backward shape and an Alpine V3 profile, basically a traditional, deeper camber that only resets at the end of the sidecut. These small flat sections provide a more controlled ride while maintaining response and responsiveness. The combination with a medium to medium stiff directional flex gives a strong and predictable edge hold. Nevertheless, even by driving it in a “haphazard” manner, it allows room for error without any major surprises. In curves, the progressive sidecut makes it easy to initiate the maneuver, offering greater control during and maximum power output. The sidecut that narrows toward the tail makes turns smooth and very fast. The result is a board with a somewhat old-style flavor, almost a dedication to the 1990s, but with cutting-edge materials and design. With a core designed for technical freestyle, it is capable of satisfying any idea that crosses your mind. In short, a board born to create a vacuum behind you and launch you to Mars on every kicker. The Aeronaut will take the same runs you’ve ridden a million times and turn them into something completely new.
