The Pill Partners in Coexistence Festival II

The Pill Partners in Coexistence Festival II

September 1 to 3, 2023 in Val Di Ledro discusses the relationship between man and nature

For the first three days of September, the wild mountains of the Ledro Valley and its lakes will be the setting for the second edition of the Coexistence Festival. Through many activities, such as hikes, science cafes, debates, and more, an attempt will be made to answer one of the questions that seems increasingly difficult to answer today: in today’s anthropocentric world, what does it mean to share spaces and resources with animals?

In response, through the proposed activities, we will try to recognize the limitations and criticalities of this coexistence, but also to develop new strategies by understanding the needs of both worlds, the human and the animal. Two main goals of these responses: the preservation of many endangered species and gaining awareness about our relationship with nature.

During the three days, there will be over thirty guests ready to guide viewers in their conscious search. Local institutions, the National Parks of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and the Stelvio Park, the Adamello Brenta Park, the hunting world and the world of breeders, as well as university representatives, journalists, artists, authors, photographers and many others.

Activities will be carried out in multiple modalities in different locations, including the natural setting of Malga Cita, which will provide LedroLandArt’s cultural area, as well as at the Ledro Pile Dwelling Museum and the Rifugio Al Faggio Restaurant.
