SCARPA
is confirmed at the top of international ski mountaineering at the just-concluded 2024 World Cup (April 6-10) on the trails between Col Gallina and Lagazuoi in Cortina, The Queen of the Dolomites, a more unique than rare place to compete.

Team SCARPA’s leadership came to fruition from the first day of competition with the women’s vertical competition, which saw Austria’s Sarah Dreier. Silver in the Cortina finals crowned her queen of the vertical discipline, thus winning the specialty cup.

In the women’s individual competition, Frenchwoman Emily Harrop dominated with a magnificent display of skill and strength, earning her fourth Sprint victory this year, adding to a formidable record of four world titles and 17 World Cup victories. Her victory in Cortina also earned her her second crystal ball of the year, following her triumph in the individual standings. In the men’s individual competition, 2nd place went instead to Italy’s Davide Magnini.

The women’s sprint competition once again saw 1st place for Emily Harrop, followed in 2nd place by Switzerland’s Marianne Fatton. In the men’s sprint, Switzerland’s Arno Lietha secured second place alongside third-place Swiss Loic Dubois.

Emily Harrop also takes the podium in 1st place in the Women’s Mixed Relay along with compatriot Thibault Anselmet.

The World Cup Finals in Cortina was the last stop on the ISMF 2023/24 competition calendar and was attended by as many as 165 athletes from 26 nations.
