Giant launched its famous CXR 1 way back in 2014, and since then they’ve accompanied countless enthusiasts on two-wheeled adventures, from cyclocross to gravel. CXR 1 have been through all kinds of trails, muddy tracks and rough terrain – these wheels offer safety everywhere.
The success that CXR 1 wheels have unleashed in these eight years is totally justified by the high performance they offer. One example is the balance between lightness and strength, given by the carbon fiber processing technique that offers a strong but at the same time super light structure. In addition, this iconic wheel features DBL (Dynamic Balanced Lacing) technology, a process that guarantees optimal spoke tension while pedaling, giving greater rolling efficiency and better braking performance. Finally, among the most important features, we find a hookless design that improves the overall resistance of the rim, allowing the tire to take on a more rounded shape, thus maximizing lateral support when cornering and improving stability and friction.
