Gore Wear: all the beauty of the coldest months

Gore Wear: all the beauty of the coldest months

To tackle a climb so steep that it takes your breath away or pedal into the wind, you have to try your best, even in the middle of winter, when you need the right protection from wind and weather to counter the bad weather. The ideal clothing, however, must never hinder performance. This winter, with the C5 capsule collection, Gore Wear has produced garments for top results.

The new Gore C5 line consists of a jacket, a sweater and overalls. Designed specifically to ensure that road cyclists reach their destination protected and dry, the collection features garments that offer the best possible support during the coldest months of the year.

The Gore C5 Gore-Tex Infiniumtm Thermo jacket offers protection from cold and wind. Made of Windstopper fabric with fleece lining, the softshell jacket keeps you warm on the coldest days offering optimal comfort on the skin. Express your full potential even in icy wind conditions. The priority of the Italian designer, Manuel Botazzo, was to create a specific cut for cycling with simple lines. With a series of cleverly integrated reflective details (such as elasticated panels at the waist and cuffs) and the Gore logo split in half by the front zipper, the softshell jacket is designed for athletes who are dedicated to road cycling and features simple, minimalist lines as well as being extremely functional. In winter, for a touch of color on gray days dull, Gore Wear proposes this jacket in the trendy shades of bright orange and fluorescent yellow, not to go unnoticed.

The new C5 Thermo jersey is also available in stores in fluorescent yellow and bright orange. The aerodynamic cut allows the body temperature to counteract the cold of winter. The thermal fabric, used for the upper part of the body, protects and insulates the bust, while the lower sleeves and the inner part are made of lighter fabric.

The C5 Thermo overalls+ C5 is the ideal garment for cyclists who do not even stop at the front to bad weather. The Windstopper fabric, breathable and water resistant, is positioned in the crotch area and protects from cold and splashing from the rear wheel. In addition to being insulating, it provides support for the main muscles stressed during pedalling. The Central Torso Architecture design of the overalls offers maximum comfort even after many hours spent in the saddle.
