Salewa Committed

Starting with the Autumn/Winter 2021-22 season, the South Tyrolean brand will introduce the new Salewa Committed label, which will be associated with products that stand out for specific environmental and social sustainability credentials. In this way, more conscious consumers will be able to easily identify and know the real environmental value of the product they are buying. For the coming winter season, 243 items of clothing and 16 accessories in the Salewa collection have already earned the Salewa Committed label.

Ortles Couloir

The new Ortles Couloir boots with carbon exoskeleton open up a new direction in Salewa design for technical mountaineering footwear. The innovative design and high-tech functionality of the new fully cramponable boot has already been awarded the Ispo Gold Award 2021 in the Mountaineering Boots category.

Ski Mountaineering

The three layers of Salewa’s new ski mountaineering set-up share the use of technologies based on natural materials (such as the wool and minerals of the Responsive technology) and intelligent design solutions such as the Direct Access System, which allows quick access to Artva search systems in avalanches. Sella Ski 3L Powertex Responsive Jacket, Sella TirolWool Responsive Stretch Half-Zip and Cristallo Alpine Merino Responsive Long Sleeve Tee are the three layers – shell, midlayer and baselayer respectively – that make up a versatile clothing system designed for the needs of ski mountaineering and winter alpinism enthusiasts, whether they are lucky enough to find themselves in the alpine paradise of the Dolomites or seeking their expression on any other mountain on the planet.
