Pro bindings designed for freeride but powerful and versatile All Mountain

Jones Mercury test

Responsive, stiff and maneuverable-that’s the perfect mix of bindings that drive the pros crazy, and with Jones’s Mercury they can get anywhere. No gully will do, Skatetech technology transfers energy directly to the edges and increases the soft feel on the board while the high back Control Flex provides solid support by absorbing vibration and eliminating calf pull. Mercury bindings are suitable for those who like comfortable bindings with good ankle support, which is great for making nice deep carves: quick in response, they leave a feeling in riding that is quite smooth and even. They certainly express themselves best when the speed is sustained; at low intensity they yield less. In general they transfer power to the board well enough to engage in ollies and tricks of various kinds also because cushioning is maximum thanks to the padding of the center disc and also thanks to the Skatetech technology that absorbs shocks, bumps and vibrations. Plus of plus the Mercury’s have two modes: Surf and Freeride to which you can switch by changing the bushings from soft (surf) to hard (freeride) and adjusting the Flip-It straps at the ankle to achieve different binding stiffness and thus play with freedom of movement. We found compact, fluffy snow, but the feeling is that the Mercurys are good allies even in less than optimal snow conditions.
