Bruno Compagnet and Maestrale on a journey to the extremes of Europe

Maestrale is reborn for those who want to challenge their limits and those of the mountains. And who better than Bruno Compagnet, a true symbol of passion for the outdoors and the mountains, to try them out for the first time? To do so, last winter, he traveled through Sicily and Norway, two extremely different landscapes in which, however, he was able to find very similar points of connection and energy. When he tells about this experience, he does so with extreme passion.

“From the Arctic Circle to the islands of the Mediterranean: with time and experience I became a “mountain skier” and my activity spontaneously turned towards finding original itineraries where travel, adventure and the environment are an integral part of my choices and decisions. The ski boot is something very personal and extremely intimate. Maestrale completely meets my needs, easy to fit, comfortable uphill and downhill. The best proof is that it is easily forgotten once worn.”

Maestrale, a timeless model

The first model of SCARPA Maestrale dates back to 2010. Designed from the beginning for climbers of all levels, from beginner to advanced, this boot is the perfect ally for those seeking an unforgettable sporting experience. In fact, support is provided both uphill and downhill, proving particularly effective when snow conditions may be adverse.

The technical features that distinguish it from other boots are the Intuition thermoformable liner, which allows total customization of the boot. The Carbon Core hull gives a high level of control, making the Maestrale the lightest boot in the line. The entire footwear is produced from a sustainable perspective, being PVC Free and made of material derived from renewable sources Pebax Rnew.
