A FAMILY HISTORY

Nearly 100 years of history have passed since the creation of La Sportiva in 1928 by shoemaker Narciso Delladio of Tesero, in Val di Fiemme, Dolomites. This small workshop, called “La Calzoleria Sportiva,” has evolved over nearly a century to become the world’s leading brand in the climbing, ski mountaineering, trail running and high mountain sectors. Thanks to a production of shoes and technical clothing entirely conceived and developed in the mountains of Trentino, La Sportiva is now synonymous with excellence and performance.

Four generations of the Delladio family, represented by CEO Lorenzo Delladio, by their daughter Giulia and their son Francesco, have perpetuated the tradition of the family business to the success it has achieved today: more than 500 employees, a turnover of more than 200,000,000 euros as of 2023, and a 15,000 sq. m. factory dedicated to the production of climbing shoes and mountaineering footwear.
